At Julia Joy, we believe that timeless fashion deserves thoughtful care.

Each of our pieces is crafted with quality and comfort in mind and with the right care, they’ll stay beautiful season after season.

Here’s how to keep your Julia Joy garments looking their best:

Washing

  • Always check the care label before washing.
  • Use cold or lukewarm water (30°C max) to preserve colour and fabric quality.
  • Choose a gentle or delicate cycle for dresses, tops, and coordinated sets.
  • Wash similar colours together to avoid fading or bleeding.
  • Turn garments inside out before washing to protect fine details and finishes.

Drying

  • Do not tumble dry, excessive heat can damage fibres and cause shrinkage.
  • After washing, reshape gently and lay flat or hang to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
  • If using a dryer, use a low setting and remove items promptly (no more than one minute of heat).

Ironing & Steaming

  • Use a low to medium heat setting on your iron.
  • Always iron inside out to protect the outer finish.
  • For delicate fabrics, use a steamer instead of direct heat.
  • Avoid ironing embellishments, buttons, or prints directly.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Hang dresses and coats on padded hangers to maintain their shape.
  • Fold knitwear and delicate tops to prevent stretching.
  • Use garment bags for longer storage periods.

Extra Tips

  • Treat stains gently blot with a mild detergent or take to a professional cleaner if needed.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or fabric softeners that can weaken materials.
  • With proper care, your Julia Joy pieces will stay timeless for years to come.
